SORDID REUNIONS tells the story of a half afternoon hour in the life of John, a 25-year old morose fiction writer who has reduced himself to low-budget pornographic film-making after a succession of professional and personal failures. When one of his actresses arrives unable to complete several pick-up shots, she is equipped to supply him with a replacement. The substitute actress, however, turns out to be his ex-fiance, and the source for his reclusive and misanthropic nature.
