In an abandoned building, a pianist discovers a piano. The room is cold and rundown. The pianist is starting to play around with the piano. A simple motif becomes a theme, the theme becomes an orchestral arrangement. The mood of the room changes to warm colours and more and more musicians appear from nothing to join the arrangement. A magical musical world is opening. The music becomes alive, unites and illuminates. The piece ends with a piano solo while the warm colours and musicians are slowly disappearing again. The pianist finds himself back in the "cold" reality.
