Thieves
Thieves is the story of a cat burglar breaking into a sleepy suburban house during the dead of night, intent on acquiring a few valuable paintings. Little does he know that another burglar, far less skilled and refined, has coincidentally decided on breaking into the very same house. They weave in and out of each others paths, both becoming increasingly confused by the trail the other leaves behind. Eventually the proceedings build to a climax that leaves both burglars empty handed. It is very much a physical comedy inspired by the work of Jacques Tati and the misadventures of great British comedy characters like Mr Bean and Basil Fawlty and features no dialog.
