Back in Gandiol, his native village in Senegal, after spending eight years as an immigrant in Spain, Mamadou is committed to being a positive force in his community. With his wife Laura, a Spanish migrant in Senegal, and under the benevolent gaze of Mamadou's mother Yaaye Khadi, they set about building with their community the "active utopia" expressed in the book "3052" that Mamadou wrote during his journey. The film accompanies them on this new quest, to discover their struggles, and the impact of these choices on their lives, those of their families, the young people of the village, and all those dream chasers.
