
The Wooden Bowl
An inter-generational story of three men, taking place under the roof of a small Greek taverna located in Canada. Spyros Makos, a Canadian-Greek, middle-aged man and the owner of the taverna, is forced to deal with his old, deteriorating father who is unable to feed himself. Eventually, Spyros grows extremely frustrated and resorts to banishing his father from the family table, sending him off into the corner to eat alone. Through an emotional confrontation between father and son, Spyros comes to terms with a reality he is afraid to accept, and through that lesson, he discovers humility.
