Fran, an emergency doctor in Madrid, during one of his rescues, knows a girl who attempted suicide. The doctor starts seeing her to get to know her better and trying to understand her problem, later realizing that it is a serious case of "Borderline" disease. The doctor will try to do everything to save her but the girl's fate will not be happy. During a rescue of a woman, who gives birth in an ambulance, the doctor gives to the new born, the name of the Borderline girl who is no longer there.
