Stella, a young Swedish woman who until recently has lived a dazzling and fast paced life in New York City. Stella lives a comfortable, but boring life in the town of Lund, Sweden. She has a nice apartment, the freedom to do what she wants, and a loving boyfriend. She tries to be positive and happy, but she can't let go of the past and enjoy the moment. Every day is the same until the day her ex boyfriend and best friends from New York come knocking on her door.
