Raha (the wife) is an artist, tolerating an abusive situation which is not what she expected from marital life according to her value standards. Mahmoud (the husband) is an old fashioned and narrow minded businessman who would not understands Raha's mind. Raha just put up with this life due to the tradition her family raised her up with. Until one day she decides to do something and have her destiny in her own hand instead of being paralyzed and let life decide for her...
