Dr. Phillip Friedman, a well known television icon, is called to the aid of a convicted murderer, Nathan Broame. Responding to the repeated pleas of Nathan's family and an overwhelming sense of fate, Phillip quickly finds himself drawn into a puzzle that he must help Nathan solve.
