Derek's life is in turmoil. He finds himself returning to the spot where his love for his soul-mate, Willow, bloomed. Memories of the past weigh on him as a fountain spurts its streams of crystal water into the pool below. First the memories are pleasant and alive, then they become darker and angrier. As the duality of good and evil emitting from the fountain becomes more apparent, he makes a wish and casts the remaining token of their love, a heart shaped necklace, into it's clear waters. A dark pact that leads to horror.
