Alyssa's perfect friendsgiving party is ruined when John hosts a pop-up comedy show for all their friends. Despite multiple setbacks, Alyssa is determined to make sure their celebration goes according to plan - no matter the cost. Among the numerous quirky characters are Dan and Natalie, the devil and angel to Alyssa and John; Jillian, who's written the perfect Friendsgiving song that no one wants to hear; and Cassandra who, on a quest for the perfect pat of butter, discovers a secret dairy underworld.
