A teenage drama about first love. 2007 year. A muggy end to summer in a small town near the border with Ukraine. A teenage Ukrainian girl, Zoja, comes with her brother to trade at the local market. He runs away from his duties to meet his Polish friend, the rebellious Iska. It turns out that her father has just died. Zoja supports Iska in her fight for a better place for his burial, but her romantic feelings for her friend come to the fore.
