Proof of Concept for the upcoming feature film "The Fountain by the River." 1863: The American Civil War is in its third year. Following the clash at Gettysburg, Confederate and Union forces find themselves on opposite sides of the Rapidan River in Virginia, expecting to face their adversary at any moment. But a soldier's wish to be baptized leads to a fateful decision, and a moment that will forever change the lives of men on both sides of the conflict. A rumination on faith and unity, "The Fountain by the River" depicts a powerful moment in history, as men on opposite sides of America's bloodiest conflict put aside their differences, to share in the common beliefs they all hold dear.
