One night Karlijn [23] finds herself lying in between chalk lines which are drawn on the asphalt. She causes an accident. MBAROTE (22), an illegal refugee from Sudan, gets hurt. Finally Karlijn has a real goal. She wants to take care of Mbarote. When she finds out that Mbarote is planning to leave Holland, she tries to keep him by her side. Mbarote has set his own goals and has to leave for Canada the next day. When Karlijn is meeting Loes again something has changed. Karlijn is through with their symbiotic boredom, she still knows how you could best move remove stains, but doesn't feel like talking about it anymore. For the first time in her life Karlijn has really felt something. She knows where she should start making changes.
