Water salesmen Dale and Wade decide to take a break from their daily work. Dale's plan is that they hire a hooker, with who they both will have sex individually, but not before they both snort some cocaine off her body. At the hotel room, the plan doesn't go quite according to what they envision, but it's not because of the hooker they hire, but because of what one of Dale or Wade decides. Resulting from the encounter with the hooker, Dale and Wade have a battle of wills based on their personal relationship and what one of them really wants in life.
