A young woman calling herself Phantom Noir leads a rock band with a bad reputation, the Pumas de Montreuil. If they arouse hostility, it's because they often go to balls where they've been refused a contract, and take the place of orchestras by force. This is exactly what has just happened. The Pumas have taken over the Bal des Pinsons where the Terrifics, very bad musicians indeed, were playing. The Pumas consist of Pat, a family boy, his sister Corinne, their parents' young maid and two other friends. Pat is very attracted to Phantom, but the young woman rejects his advances. And with good reason: Phantom is actually a nun, Sister Louise.
