The story is about Patricia, a young woman and her dream. She has a strong desire to succeed in her chosen path of a funeral director. Patricia comes from a family whose religious background is devout. Jake is the man whom she really loves but Jake is not willing to commit to any form of a relationship. Jake also wants to succeed in his chosen career of music. Jake rooms with another associate, Ross. Ross is a partier who likes to live on the edge. With her friend Amanda's help, she tries to make Jake jealous by using Ross with disastrous results.
