Seven of the most skilled professional surfers in the world are put together to live in a beach house on the North Shore of Oahu, where the 2002 Triple Crown of Surfing is being held. Sunny Garcia is a former world champion and five-time Triple Crown of Surfing winner. Sunny and Myles Padaca, the reigning Triple Crown of Surfing champion, go up against Andy Irons, the current World Champion. Myles loses the first leg of the competition to Sunny called the Hawaiian Pro. Sunny also beats Damien Hobgood, the 14th-ranked male surfer in the world. Danny Fuller is a rising star who qualified for the semifinals of the Bonzai Pipeline Masters last year. Veronica "VK" Kay is the international face of Roxy surf wear. Holly Beck, is the top female extreme athlete in the Teen Choice Awards and the founder of International Women's Surfing (the women's union). Chelsea Georgeson is the #5-ranked female surfer in the world, and is the youngest one in the house. The show follows the seven surfers and their pursuit for the Triple Crown. Besides the above-mentioned Hawaiian Pro at Ali'i Beach Park in Haleiwa, the two other competitions that make up the Triple Crown of Surfing are the Rip Curl Cup at Sunset Beach, and the Pipeline Masters at the Banzai Pipeline. Episode 1: The roommates enjoy a backyard barbecue before a night on the town. Also: Veronica has a photo shoot in Waikiki. Episode 2: Sunny and Damien compete in the second round of the Hawaiian Pro. Episode 3: Sunny and Myles attend a meeting with Hawaiian surfers. Episode 4: The ladies party in Waikiki, Holly surfs against Chelsea and defending women's world champion Layne Beachley. Also: The Rip Curl Cup begins. Episode 5: Final-round action gets underway at the Pipeline Masters, where Danny delivers a memorable performance.
