Smith's Cook
Polly, the Smith's prize cook, decides to marry Johnny. The Smiths starts out with her Johnny's house where the wedding is to take place. Vernon, a traffic cop who has been jilted by Polly, gives Jimmy Smith a ticket for some offense every few blocks. Polly has a bottle of eggnog with her and proceeds to get considerably intoxicated, They lose their way and after many narrow escapes, reach Johnny's house. All of the guests have left and Johnny tells Polly the wedding is off. The Smiths start home, thankful that they still have their good cook, but a sudden bump precipitates her into the arms of Vernon, the cop, who is following them, and there She decides to stay.
