Set in Huangshan mountain, the summer of 1983. Young composer Shu Yin walks among the crowd of tourists and encounters her childhood playmate Gao Xiaofeng at the side of a thermal pool. They talk to each other and pour out the ten years of sufferings. Shu's father was a famous composer and died with regret during the ten chaotic years. She comes to Huangshan this time is for experiencing the famous mountain's feeling and finish her father's last wish -- the national symphony "Huangshan Soul".
