Set in 1940s, Chongqing City. Ji Daming is a skilled technical worker and fired by factory manager because of pointing out an engineer's mistake. Ji then takes a job as handyman on a ferry and gets to know Zhu, an undercover member of CCP. Ji follows Zhu and moves to a transport team later. Both of them lead the team to protect the factory's property from being stolen.
