Karrewiet
This Flemish format, the fantasy title of which is no official Dutch word or compound, mixes selected fragments from the regular daily news with specially shot clips--such as short interviews with children; some even get a part as 'guest reporter,' e.g. visiting a major trade fair--on the same, related or additional subjects, specifically for a young audience in a corresponding simple language, with a preference for items from, or closely related to, daily life, rather than politics or economics. On Sunday there is a digest compilation, "De Week van Karrewiet."
