Das Weibernest
Superwoman Franziska Zis has made it. Her debut novel "The Perfect Woman" is a bestseller and the media are gushing over the lively mother of three. Alexander Karl, program director of a major television station, even offers her her own talk show. Torn between career and family, Franziska flees with her three chaotic children for a long-promised vacation. In the hotel she unexpectedly meets Alexander Karl again, who charmingly convinces Franziska to take her chance at television after all. The decision is made easier by meeting her childhood friend Marie, who has just left her husband. The ambitious fashion designer moves into Franziska's house to work in peace and keep an eye on the children. In return, Franziska promises to throw her TV celebrities on the scales in order to promote Marie's fashion collection. The good spirit of the lively female flat-sharing community is Marie's life-wise mother-in-law Alma. After a false start, Franziska's talk show becomes a ratings hit--but only after the presenter has implemented her own concept. However, through all the hard work, she forgets an important obligation to her best friend. When it turns out that Franziska and Marie are expecting a child from the same man, their friendship is put to a severe test.
