Two retirement home room-mates lament a life of wasted opportunity. Ida is convinced all residents of the ground floor are damned for their half-lived lives, and only those on the fourth floor are assured of eternal peace, for they have acomplished much. While Daisy tries desperately to dismiss Ida's strange belief she can't help but be reminded of her own secret regret.
