After a successful career, a young filmmaker receives a grant to shoot a second film. Unsure of what subject to choose, he decided to put his autobiography into pictures, reconstructing the events that had left their mark on him. But after just a few takes, the budget ran out to pay the crew. Doubts and squabbles soon set in. And to make matters worse, he ends up losing control of his film, the camera having been borrowed (stolen) by Mado, the woman in charge of the "making-of".
