To stay in the country, André and his friends work in the company of Mr. Forget, the owner of a furniture factory. Between work, his parents, the dance, and Léone, his girlfriend, André no longer has time for his hobby: painting. At the factory, the situation worsens. He and his friends must get their hair cut or be fired. Some, like André, refuse to obey and try to defend themselves by resorting to a union representative.
