The party band Harmony loses their lead singer in a traffic accident. The orchestra is to be disbanded and the family expects that mourning will be done in silence. The left-behind girlfriend Majbritt, however, cannot handle the act of being the grieving widow. Immediately after the funeral, she falls in love again - much to the dismay of the in-laws.
