His children from a first marriage, his son, who borrows money from everyone around him. His daughter, who wants to marry a young engineer. And one of his friends, a doctor, who is a little too close to his wife. Finally, his mother-in-law, who lives with him and exasperates him with her insistence that he have a child with her daughter. The commissioner becomes paranoid. He only eats and drinks food that he keeps in a safe. Will this paranoia end up destroying his family?
