The Offering
Rebellious teenage drug user Paul is startled by an apparition of an African Christ who is visible only to him. At the same time, Paul's mother Nora has nightmares about Paul being murdered by his abusive father Brian--who is making death threats to Nora's new lover. Encouraged by Christ to become more spiritual, Paul struggles to convince his family and friends that he isn't crazy, and to find out why Christ has appeared to him.
