Dolores, Elvira and Carmen are three widowed sisters who live locked in a decadent mansion. Next to them is maid Lupe, a one-eyed witch who practices voodoo rites. The three of them have not been out in the streets for 20 years, praying tormented in a corner of the house where they have a chapel with the tombs of their husbands. The life of the three sisters is agitated by the arrival of a sister-in-law, the wife of a dead brother.
