It regularly featured the singing group Sons of the Pioneers, actor Pat Brady (Rogers' long-serving "sidecick"), and comedian Cliff Arquette (portraying his then-popular character, Charley Weaver). The series only lasted for 13 episodes, as the popularity of the hosts had declined by the early 1960s. The show was never particularly popular.
