Heather Mattheisen, former professional dancer turned actress, is trained proficiently in Meisner. She completed a two year Meisner program with Joshua Bitton at Carolyn Barry Acting Academy. She has also performed in the advance level at Groundlings. Additional training includes: Margie Haber Studios, Advance Scene Study with Joshua Bitton & Heidi Dippold, LA Acting Studios, Daniela Eskinazi and Stuart K. Robinson commercial workshops. Heather has appeared in ads for Rakuten, Blue Buffalo, V-tech, Texas Health, Facebook, My Math Academy, ABC Mouse, and others.

Heather Mattheisen is also the mother and sole acting coach of Dash McCloud (credits include Hulu's "Candy", Disney's "Let's Be Tigers", Miramax's "Old Dads", "911", "The Rookie", "Kenan", "TabTime", Nickelodeon's "Face's Music Party", three other NDA projects in the works & 16 commercial bookings including Doug's son for Liberty Mutual's LimEmu spot ). Heather also has a precocious 3 year old who recently stared in his first short film "Benny's 2nd Birthday".

Heather is a fantastic writer who loves to create and produce her own content and films. She has a deep love of storytelling whether through acting, writing, choreographing, dancing, or coaching. Her biggest strengths are connecting with others, making people feel empowered, and mindful leadership. She believes we are stronger together than standing alone and welcomes collaboration.

Heather originally moved to Los Angeles in 2004 when she was awarded the prestigious EDGE Performing Arts Center Professional Scholarship where she studied in jazz, hip hop, tap, ballet, and contemporary. She has performed and trained with the industry's leading choreographers, including Gregg Russell, Cindera Che, Ryan Heffington, Mecca Andrews, JT Horestein, Andre Fuentes, Vino Perez, Adam Parsons, Rei Aoo...etc. She was a member of Rei Aoo's Dance Planet and Gregg Russell's Tap Sounds Underground.

In 2009 Heather opened a dance studio in Agoura Hills, CA where she trained young dancers, served on the Agoura Hills Chamber of Commerce, developed a PE curriculum for the local school district, and gave back to her community. She sold it when her son Dash was born and made the transition into acting. Today Heather is passionate about better treatment of children in the entertainment industry. She hopes to sit on the board at SAG one day to help strengthen the protection of minors and advocate for their mental health and well being.
