Maria M Wilson is an actress known for Harry T Moore (2018), and has performed in Independent films Salud (2018), Sickened (2017). Maria was born in Bronx, New York to Puerto Rican parents Jose and Aurora Ferrer. She was raised in Miami, Florida. She is Bilingual, and speaks fluent Spanish. She can successfully perform British, Southern, and French accents. Maria started acting as a child in school plays. She continued Drama in high school plays and was awarded Best playwright and her dramatic role in her High School play she called "Acirema" which was America spelled backwards. While raising her 3 children, she pursued acting by writing, performing, casting and successfully Directing Christian plays at her church for 8 years. She stopped acting for awhile to raise her children during their difficult teen years and pursued a medical profession in Ophthalmology as a Certified Medical Technologist. Maria's passion has always been acting and so after a long career in the medical field, she once again pursued her acting career head on. She states" I believe this is the path God chose for me". She began her professional training and obtained representation. She has also performed in many Commercials and has become eligible for SAG/AFTRA which she hopes to obtain by the end of this year. Maria truly treats her acting as a business and continues to hone her craft and retains an acting coach. She takes classes and reads many books from Producers, directors, actors she admires. One of her main goals is to write and perform in an award winning film.
