Helya Salarvand is an Iranian-American actress, model, and writer based in Los Angeles. She has trained with and performed at various institutions across Los Angeles, including Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum, UCLA, and the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts. As a model, she was most recently featured in The Elder Statesman's Pre-Fall 2023 Collection for Vogue Magazine. As a writer, her personal essay "My Liminal Iran" was published in LARB Quarterly, no. 36. She plays Beatrice in Lucy Teitler's 2023 short "Keep It Open."
