Inês Isabel Sanches Mendes known professionally as Isabel Mendes, is a Portuguese Actor with Spanish background from mothers side and Angolan background from fathers side, she was born in Aveiro City, Portugal in 1991. Isabel came to England, London at the age of 7 with her mother & father in 1998. Isabel was 12 years of age when she impersonated the character "Nurse" from Romeo and Juliet in a school play where she was voted as the best actress of her school year and that's where her passion for Acting grew. Isabel started her first performing arts training at Merton College in London in 2008 and has been building her acting career ever since. In 2018 Isabel stared as a soldier in the film No more lights in the sky and stared as a extra for the film Soldiers of Embers. Isabel then went to train at Identity School of Acting (IDSA) London in 2021 where she obtained theatrical experience. In 2024 Isabel went on to train at The Reel Scene for her screen acting where she worked alongside professional actors and Directors such as Kevin McNally (Mr Gibbs) from Pirates of the Caribbean and David Schaal (Terry) from the Inbetweeners, Director Adam Morse & Director Charles- Henri Belleville. Isabel has stared in Cam Girl as a paramedic and recently finished her first short film Till Death Do Us Part where she stared as Detective Sargent Diaz alongside David Schaal.
