Pranay C. Naidu is a film director, actor, writer, producer and Executive Director at SA Digital Films. With an innate skill to envision content that can engage, he made an unexpected switch from a well-established stock-broking career to film-making, going on to take up leadership in ideation, concept-creation and strategy. Well-known for efficient handling of large teams, he has been at the helm of several projects, including short films showcased at prestigious Film Festivals. His wide expanse of experience ranging from corporate films, documentaries and product videos to short films and theatre commercials is in addition to an astute knowledge of markets and market trends. An avid wildlife enthusiast and photographer, he made his first foray into film-making in 2009. Initially starting out as a short film writer and director, he has been the creative and concept lead for more than 200 AVs. Adept at integrating marketing, creative and technical resources, he has since 2012 been spearheading SA Digital Films as Executive Director. As film-maker, he has headed several socially and environmentally relevant initiatives including projects for the Indian Army, the Chhatisgarh Government and films that highlight women's safety and health awareness issues. He has been an active participant in animal rescue activities. A penchant for storytelling led to a natural foray into theatre. He has been a part of several productions in different roles; that of writer, director and actor.
