Bartholomew N. Briggs is an R&D Engineer in the Engineering Excellence group of Newell Brands (consumer products company with over 200 brands in nearly 200 countries). Mr. Briggs graduated cum laude, Engineering Science & Mechanics [ESM] with a Biomechanical Concentration, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University [Virginia Tech]. During this time, he also spent a semester in Italy studying Studio Art and a semester in Egypt studying Robotics. Bart is completing his Master's Degree in Applied Energy and Electromechanical Systems focusing on Mechatronics and AI at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte. He currently serves as the subject matter expert on Testing & Applied Statistics for Performance and Claims Validation. Bart has performed data analysis for dozens of projects and written summary reports for the legal department and NAD. Mr. Briggs travels across the globe training the broader R&D organization on best practices for Product Development and serves as a Mentor professionally, and voluntarily through the FIRST Robotics Program.
