Her dedication to truthful storytelling gained wider recognition with her breakthrough portrayal of Regina Louise in the Lifetime film I Am Somebody’s Child: The Regina Louise Story, which received Emmy consideration in 2019, following her work in Season 2 of GodComplx (2016).
