Sean Gordon is a lover, a listener, and a learner.

Sean is an Actor based in New York City. He grew up under the fluorescence of Friday Night Lights, in the warm communities of northeast Dallas, and like many southerners, sports were Sean's first love. During that time in his life, Sean devoted himself to developing his heart on and off the field, but one day he discovered theater and soon came to realize that his soul was on the stage. From that pivotal moment on in his early teenage years, Sean began to develop into the dedicated artist that he remains today. By the time Sean finished high school, he had performed in dozens of productions, and fallen even further in love with the craft.

Much to his parents chagrin, instead of pursuing a collegiate football career, Sean made a decision to take a different path. He chose to attend Texas A&M University, where he acquired a BS in Industrial Engineering, and a double minor in Theater Arts & Mathematics. Sean always wanted to learn as much as he could about the world (both within and without himself). While he was at school, Sean serendipitously fell into a thriving theater arts community at TAMU, and was fortunate enough to perform in over a dozen collegiate productions. It was during this time that he was exposed to various theatrical trainings like Viewpoints, Laban, Shakespeare, Mime, and Stage Combat to name a few. Engineering kept Sean focused, but theater set him free.

After graduating, Sean briefly worked as a Systems Engineer for Dell Technologies in the heart of New York City. This job opportunity helped him find his way to the city of his dreams. Then, in the midst of COVID, he left that job to follow his heart.

Since then, Sean has worked on numerous projects that have enabled him to join both SAG-AFTRA and Actor's Equity Association. He worked on the sets of Billions and Marvelous Mrs. Maisel shortly before making his New York stage debut last year in the world premiere of Richard Willett's "9/10" at the Gene Frankel Theater (directed by Eliza Beckwith).

Three words that summarize Sean: courage, compassion, and curiosity.
