Alexander Fattal was born in July 1990 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He grew up in Michigan where he studied civil engineering at Western Michigan University. He graduated and became EIT certified and practiced for several years. In this time, he developed an affinity for photography and fell in love with the concept of film production. Shortly afterwards, he moved to Portland, Oregon and started working in the local industry. He developed skills quickly, transitioning from extra, to production assistant, through the G&E department to cameras. He works now officially as a BTS photographer, but still offers his hand in any role local productions need filled.
