Jen Finelli is the screenwriter for "I'm Having An Affair With My Wife!", a romantic comedy about an interracial couple who, upset with their marriage, seek out affairs online, but through a dating service error accidentally start an affair with each other. "Affair" placed in the top 15 percent of scripts at the 2016 Austin Film Festival, and was selected for development by producer Samantha Mauney Aiken of Dead Laurel Productions.

The biracial daughter of immigrant parents, Finelli is also a world-traveling science fiction author who has twice received Honorable Mention for the national Writers of the Future SFF award.
