Aasif Moyal is an award winning Indian filmmaker and script writer based in Mumbai. He graduated from the prestigious film school of India - FTII, Pune in 2016. Which has produced stalwarts like Subhash Ghai, Rajkumar Hirani, Sriram Raghavan and Rajat Kapoor. Aasif has been successfully working in the various formats of visual storytelling. He was nominated for Filmfare award 2022 in the best screenplay category for his web show Human. His student diploma film Kalpvriksha won National award in 2017 and his scripts have been selected in India's most coveted script contests like Mumbai Mantra and Cinestaan. His short films have been applauded across the world and travelled to the reputed film festivals in US, UK, Portugal, Poland, Dubai, Mexico and Bangladesh. Zari Wala Aasman - An independent short film won him 11 awards. It got the honour to be premiered at KIFF (Kolkata International Film Festival) and also screened at all the leading film festivals in India like MAMI, Mumbai and IDSFFK, Kerala, Bengaluru International film festival.
