Jocelyn Anna Lernout is a Canadian actress, writer, filmmaker, and music artist born and raised in Ontario. She grew up on a farm in St. Thomas before moving to Chatham, where she developed an early passion for performance and storytelling. She first appeared on stage as Goldilocks in Grade 3 and continued acting throughout her school years, later receiving an acting award in 2016 in recognition of her work. She holds a degree in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, with minors in English and World Religions-an academic background that informs her approach to character development and narrative depth. Beginning in 2007, she created original film projects including Into The Future of Education: 2020 and Into Understanding, and later completed the short film A World of Culture while studying Aboriginal Music Studies and Journalism in Vancouver. Jocelyn is also the artist, JOCELEEN LOVE, and has an album called Legend & Heart. Her work spans acting, writing, filmmaking, and music, reflecting a multidisciplinary career rooted in visual storytelling and creative expression. In addition to her film and music, Jocelyn is a public speaker sharing about the hero/heroine journey and tools of self empowerment such as Human Design which she calls Divine DNA Design. In 2010 she competed in Miss Vancouver, Miss British Columbia, and Miss Universe Canada in 2012.
