Shaun is a director/writer who hails from the islands of Hawaii. He has garnered a BA in Theatre at the University of Hawaii and has appeared in numerous plays on Oahu's Kennedy Theatre and Diamond Head Theatre. In May of 2019, he graduated with an MFA from the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts: Film & Television Production program.

His short documentary, Delay of Game, was a recent recipient of the Best Documentary award at the USC Cinematic Arts' First Look Awards as well as an official selection for the RSF Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival.

His film, Pouri, was an official selection at the 2018 One Nation Film Festival as well as a Silver Lei winner at the 2018 Honolulu Film Awards. Along with writing and directing, he has also done sound work on a few short documentaries as well as a TV mini-series.
