John Paul Pollio is a trained film and theatre actor and model from Redwood City, CA, USA. He began his acting career at age 7, joining the drama club at his elementary school and appearing in several plays. From here, he jumped into theatre in high school, in drama classes, stage plays and several musicals, all under Barry Woodruff. During high school, he also dove into the modeling world with several big print campaigns and runways shows. Knowing acting was his first love, he tabled modeling and he enrolled in San Jose State's theatre & film department for the first two years of college, as well as joined the lacrosse team. Following his completion of the TFTV program at SJSU, because of his commitment to sports and work and thus inability to have time to commit to the rigorous schedule of a play, he took some time off of acting but continued taking classes at Cañada College. During this time off, he delved deep into costuming building and fabrication, building and assembling several top-quality, screen-accurate costumes from his favorite movies and video games and wearing them to several conventions such as San Diego Comiccon. Because of this costuming talent, he fell into landing his first big commercial, one with Facebook that features cosplayers. His first day on set was a 17 person crew with him as the only talent, and he had such an amazing and fun time that it was that moment he realized, "This is what I want to do with the rest of my life!" From this point on, it was a scramble to make up for lost time. He immediately enrolled in as many theatre and film acting classes he could take, this time at the Conservatory program at Foothill College under the tutelage of Janis Bergman, Tom Gough, and Milissa Carey. During this period, he began auditioning for commercials and television shows that shoot in the San Francisco Bay Area. His first credit on this path was on the show "Behind The Screams." He's appeared in many short films for the various schools in the area, both small and big commercials, both big-budget and no-budget films, and appeared in 7-plus television shows so far. He was recently seen in "Con Man" Season 2 with Alan Tudyk and Nathan Fillion, Red vs Blue season 14, and is starring as "Nathan Drake" in the film and web series "Uncharted: Search for The Idol."
