William Holloway (Born Dec. 14, 1994), is a Writer, Producer, and Director originally from from Oxnard, California. He is also the founder of Nineties & Noughties Productions which specializes in producing comedy films. Holloway is an only child raised by his hardworking single mother Ernestine Guest who would often take him to the movie theater or video store to rent movies as a kid. This is where his love and fascination with film developed. After realizing the writer was the person responsible for creating the characters, what they said, and the worlds in which these characters inhibited, he realized he wanted to be a writer.

William attended California State University, Northridge (2013-2018) where he received his B.A. in Cinema and Television Arts with an emphasis in Screenwriting. While at CSUN, William wrote his first short for a class project which solidified his love for filmmaking. Following that first project, he went on to create, write and develop a web series entitled Killer University-which he solely produced and occasionally directed. Being involved with the casting, location scouting and scheduling with the project, this is where his love for producing came to life. The series ran for 2 seasons and 17 episodes. While attending CSUN, he also wrote, produced, and directed a series of short films to strengthen his experience.

After graduating from CSUN, William continued to write, produce, and direct projects. These projects include his most recent short film Scary Fun which he produced in the summer of 2023. The film is a slasher spoof film based on a feature length script he wrote in the summer of 2022. The film was an official selection and had its world premiere at the 2024 edition of the iconic Oscar-Qualifying festival the L.A. Shorts International Film Festival.

Scary Fun was developed as a franchise with four films and a miniseries with all four films and the pilot already written. The films are all scheduled to go into production and be released over the next few years (2027-2033). Aside from the Scary Fun franchise, Holloway hopes his production company Nineties & Noughties Productions will be a home where young, talented filmmakers can come and have their stories told as he plans the future slate for the company beyond the Scary Fun franchise.

Being a product of the late 90's and early 2000's, William's primary focus and goal is to bring the fun and uninhibited comedy of yesteryear and update it for a modern, younger audience while still tapping into that millennial audience who are a product of these times just like him. He believes now more than ever people need to laugh and have fun again in the midst of everything currently going on in the world and believes the communal aspect of comedy and the movie theater going experience can help with that.

He currently resides in the Beverly Grove area of Los Angeles.
