Declan Meagher grew up in Baltimore, MD and attended Friends School of Baltimore until graduating in June of 2012. Throughout his time in school he performed in over 14 scholastic musicals and plays. Upon graduating he moved out to Los Angeles, CA to continue his education at Occidental College. There he majored in Theater; performing in a wide range of plays and musicals from Ancient Greek, to Shakespeare, to Modern drama and comedy. He took the opportunity to travel to London during his junior year to study theater intensely at a conservatory program (The London Dramatic Academy) where he continued to hone his craft with the addition of more intense Shakespeare and Stanislavsky based courses as well as taking sword-fighting, physical theater, and period dance classes. He graduated from Occidental College in May, 2016 with a BA and honors in Theater with an emphasis in acting and directing. Declan also participated in choir from a very young age, continuity all the way through his graduation of college. He sang in the Maryland All-State Choir and in the advanced choirs at both his high school and college. He sang Baritone but also played such roles as Bass/Baritone Section Leader, Co-President and Founder of Barbershop Quartet (Bengalshop) and a vocal percussionist. Declan began taking dance classes in high school. He took classes in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Social and Period Dance. Declan was a choreographer of Hip-Hop during his college days and is also licensed to teach Zumba (since 2014). Since graduation, Declan Meagher has been working as a Mainstage Performer for Disney Cruise Lines utilizing his skills in acting, singing, and dancing. Declan's journey into the film world has so far been short but he continues to strive to give good, quality, performances in front of the camera.
