Yayra Abdullaeva is a Soviet and Uzbek theater and film actress. People's Artist of the Uzbek SSR. She began her stage career in 1945 in a front-line concert brigade led by Gavkhar Rakhimova. In 1950 she graduated from the Tashkent State Institute of Theater Arts named after Aleksandr Ostrovskiy. She devoted her entire life to the National Academic Theater of Uzbekistan. Conducted radio broadcasts.

Since 1953 she acted in films. The most famous were the works in the films 'The Rakhmanov Sisters' (Dildar), 'Hamza' (Saodat), V chyornykh peskakh (1973) (the wife of Ilyas Khan), Vozrast trevog (1972) (Nadzhimova), Leningradtsy, deti moi... (1981) (Abdullaeva), Almaznyy poyas (1986).
