Simay Argento was born in Melbourne, Australia. Her heritage is a mixture of Turkish, Italian and Maltese blood. She began performing at the very young age. Her early stage performances were as a dancer, being schooled in the styles of Jazz, Hip Hop and Funk. She then later continued dancing for many years performing in various styles such as Cabaret, Broadway, Jazz, and Tap. Completing 2 years part-time in Musical Theater attending at Apo Arts Academy, also known as Dance World Studios. As much as she loved performing and dance throughout her life, she had continued onto a new path & wanted to be versatile. Going into acting this was something very different to the dance scene, which she had also completed a 2 year course attending at Melbourne Actors Lab.

Few years later while doing acting and dance, She also became a Cosplay Artist in her late 20's performing and working as the "DC Universe" character "Catwoman". She has attended many charity events for children & foundations and also not to mention the big cosplay convention events yearly, throughout Australia including-Supanova, Comic Con, Metro Con, PAX, & The Cat Lovers Show. Her first acting professional job was on Neighbours the local television series. Her work has progressed over the years leading into International Films, Short Films, and Feature Films, one being Cult Girls (2019) starring Jane Badler and the more recent Rage (2021) starring Richard Norton. She has met and worked along side with many well respected and known artists from all over the world. She has been blessed and feels very grateful and humbled throughout her career and over the years.
