Fiona Cleary

Laura grew up with a skinned elbow and an independent streak playing with a group of boys in the woods of Pennsylvania just outside of Pittsburgh. Daughter of two writers, she started acting out her own stories in local theatre groups at 8 years old. She took her passion for theatre to the College Conservatory of Music where she received a B.F.A. in Acting. She's been featured in Stage Directors and Choreographers Journal and Cincinnati Magazine for her portrayal of a female Macbeth in Macbeth. And she made her New York debut last summer in In This Dancery, a new work created for The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, the national invitational showcase of actors, directors, playwrights and producers under 25. She is a strong young female lead who enjoys transforming herself into her characters.
